Gandhi Jayanti

Gandhi Jayanti is a national holiday celebrated in India to mark the occasion of the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, the "Father of the Nation"...Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (2 October 1869 – 30 January 1948) was the pre-eminent political and spiritual leader of India during the Indian independence movement.Gandhi Jayanti celebrated on October 2, every year. It is one of the three official declared National Holidays of India and is observed in all its states and union territories. The United Nations General Assembly announced on 15 June 2007 that it adopted a resolution which declared that October 2 will be celebrated as the International Day of Non-Violence.

सौहार्द और उल्लास के साथ मना दशहरा

सिमडेगा। जिले भर में दुर्गा पूजा व दशहरा का पर्व शांति सौहार्द और उल्लास के साथ मनाया गया। मुख्यालय में सजे सात पूजा पंडालों तथा गरजा पंडाल की प्रतिमाएं सोमवार की शाम ट्रकों पर सजाकर मुख्य पथ पर लायी गयी तथा विसर्जन शोभायात्रा में हजारों श्रद्धालु शामिल हुए। उत्साही युवा नाचते गाते चल रहे थे। विसर्जन शोभायात्रा के आगे-आगे दुर्गा पूजा समन्वय समिति के अध्यक्ष, सचिव व अन्य पदाधिकारी अपने विशेष वेशभूषा व गुलाबी पगड़ी में सजे लोगों के आकर्षण का केन्द्र थे। अब्दुल मन्नान उर्फ बारूद वाले बाबा ने अपने परिवार के द्वारा दशकों से चलायी जा रही सौहार्द की गौरवशाली परम्परा को आगे बढ़ाते हुए अपने प्रतिष्ठान के बाहर निकलकर मां दुर्गे की शोभायात्रा का स्वागत किया। उन्होंने माता के स्वागत में फुलझड़ी व रोशनी से मार्ग को चकाचौंध कर दिया। पूरे शहर की परिक्रमा करने के बाद मध्य रात्रि में बड़ा तालाब में मां दुर्गे व अन्य देवी देवताओं की प्रतिमाएं वैदिक मंत्रोच्चार व जयजयकार के बीच विसर्जित कर दी गयी। विसर्जन जुलूस के दौरान पुलिस निरीक्षक सतनजीव झा के नेतृत्व में पुलिस बल साथ चल रहा था। सुरक्षा के मद्देनजर शहर के चप्पे-चप्पे पर पुलिस बल तैनात था तथा दुर्घटना से बचाव के लिये बिजली आपूर्ति काटकर रखी गयी थी। दुर्गा पूजा के दौरान नवयुवक संघ उपर बाजार तथा प्रिंस चौक में जागरण सहित कई सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम आयोजित हुए। आयोजन में बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु शामिल हुए। लोगों ने रामजानकी मंदिर में लगाये गये कैंटीन का भी जमकर मजा लिया।

Durga Puja " Dashara "

For Bengalis, this is the biggest festival of the year. Today, the last day of the five-day event, is called “Bijoya Dashimi.” Mother Durga, who had come with her children (Saraswati, Lakshmi, Ganesh, and Kartik) to visit her parents, departs today. For five days her idols had been worshiped and today the idols will be given back to the earth from which they were made.

The origins of this festival are varied. Here’s one. The story goes that there was this guy called Mahishashur who because of his great devotion to Shiva, was granted a boon by Shiva that he could never be killed by any man or god. Shiva does crazy stuff like that. So Mahishashur became a bit of a nuisance, tormenting the gods etc. So then the gods in desperation presented their case to the supreme three — Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Yes Shiva, the same guy who gave Mahishashur the power in the first place, is part of the trinity. The three agreed that something had to be done. So the invoked Shakti. Shakti is the ultimate power that underlies the whole of creation. It is also the female principle; Shiva is the male principle. Thus came Goddess Durga the fierce incarnation or avatar of Shakti and she confronted Mahishashur and defeated him. Durga is also referred to as “Mahishashur-mardini,” the slayer of Mahishashur. In Bengali iconography, Durga is depicted with ten arms, each holding a specialized instrument, riding a lion and piercing the heart of the demon Mahishashur with her lance. It is the same old story of good defeating evil.

कमालं,!!!!!!!! सभी परीक्षाओं में एक समान अंक

सिमडेगा।  कमाल की हैं जिले के सदर प्रखंड की डुमरटोली निवासी जुड़वां बहनें। 11 मार्च 1980 को जन्मीं प्रभा व किरण सुरीन में कई ऐसी समानताएं हैं, जो किसी को भी आश्चर्य में डाल दे। दोनों बहनों ने मैट्रिक से लेकर एमए तथा बीएड तक की सभी परीक्षाओं में न केवल एक समान डिवीजन हासिल किया, बल्कि समान अंक भी अर्जित किए हैं। दोनों की हिंदी व अंग्रेजी की टाइपिंग स्पीड भी एक समान है।
गिदियोन सुरीन की पुत्री प्रभा व किरण का जीवन में एक ही उद्देश्य भी है, शिक्षिका बनकर समाज में ज्ञान का प्रकाश फैलाना। हालांकि रांची विश्वविद्यालय से 2007 में ही डिस्टिंक्शन के साथ बीएड करने वाली दोनों युवतियों को अब तक नौकरी नहीं मिली है।
दोनों बहनों के मैट्रिक से बीएड तक के परीक्षा परिणामों की कितनी समानता है, यह शैक्षणिक रिकार्ड देखते ही स्प्ष्ट हो जाता है। दोनों ने मैट्रिक की परीक्षा 1995 में पास की। दोनों को 51 प्रतिशत अंक के साथ द्वितीय श्रेणी मिला। इंटर की परीक्षा प्रथम श्रेणी में उत्तीर्ण हुई और दोनों को 60 प्रतिशत अंक मिले। 62-62 प्रतिशत अंकों के साथ स्नातक परीक्षा पास कीं। एमए में मामूली सा अंतर दिखा। प्रभा को जहां 59.44 प्रतिशत अंक मिले, वहीं किरण को मिला 57 प्रतिशत। दूसरी ओर, बीएड की परीक्षा में समान अंक मिले, 80-80 प्रतिशत। स्टेनोग्राफी में भी दोनों बहनों की स्पीड समान है, अंग्रेजी में 120 व हिंदी में 100 शब्द प्रति मिनट। दोनों बहनों का टाइपिंग स्पीड हिंदी में 40 व अंग्रेजी में 45 शब्द प्रति मिनट है।
